Evoke is an ambient generator that lets you savor the rich ensemble sound woven from four synthesized acoustic instruments. Starting with a basic track created using CHORD feature, layer sounds from other tracks and apply a granular effect to explore soothing and immersive sonorities.

Evoke comes with 16 chord styles, letting you play chords effortlessly with just one finger on any white key. Alongside scale-based styles such as diatonic chords, “chord-pad” styles are available, delivering pleasant progressions by simply tapping keys in sequence – like a pad – regardless of their pitch.

Flux Oscillator

Evoke features a new synth engine that synthesizes the beautiful transition of sonority found in acoustic instruments. Acoustronic Flux Oscillator slices the sounds of 34 acoustic instruments into 256 time fragments, then uses BACKTIDE modulation to reverse them like an ebbing tide and add an undulating motion.

Furthermore, Evoke includes 22 waves* as sub-oscillators, each built on 128 harmonic tables. By blending the sub-oscillator capable of complex harmonic variations and adjustable in pitch over a ±2-octave range you can craft Evokeʼs signature Acoustronic sound.

Evoke is equipped with a dedicated granular effect, Grain FX, that slices your phrases into micro-grains and transforms and reconstructs them in a variety of ways – manipulating grain shape, time warp, spatial position, and playback method̶ to create entirely new sounds. Grain pitch can be harmonized by octaves, perfect fifths, and various musical scales, while buffer sizes from 8th notes to a full bar sync to your patternʼs tempo – together delivering a musical granular effect.

Grain FX send levels can be set on each track, and the effect can also be applied to the stereo signals from the line input. 16 preset patches* let you dial in musical granular effects with just 2 Grain FX knobs.

Evoke offers 10 diverse reverb types – including the veiled ambience “Mirage” – whose deep reverberations transport you into a world of reminiscence. You can adjust send levels per track as well as Grain FX sends. Combine the reverb with Grain FX to create various spatial effects such as shimmer reverb

Each of the 6 structures has a different number of oscillators and modulation circuits. ATMOS 1, for example, uses ring modulation, while ATMOS 2 uses FM modulation.

Evoke provides the same 4-track sequencer as the Ambient Ø – capable of recording both your performances and any changes in sound parameters so you can craft a wide variety of compositions. By simply connecting SYNC or MIDI cables, you can also play in sync with the Ambient Ø and any other electronic instruments.
