Description

LIVEN MEGA SYNTHESIS is a retro game music groovebox developed with the famous composer “Yuzo Koshiro” and allows a complete reproduction of the legendary sound of the world’s first 16-bit game console!

Liven Mega Synthesis enables the creation of complex and unique grooves on six tracks by combining three well-known sound engines from the early 80s.

In the Mega Synthesis the sounds of the famous YM2612 chip meet the incomparable sounds of the SN76489 used by Texas Instruments, which was also used in many game consoles of the early digital era and is known from numerous retro games. This combination is completed by the simulation of a first-generation sampling engine that can be switched from 8 to 4 bits – and for a maximum sampling time of 8 seconds – optionally at 48, 24 or 12 kHz.

The combination of these three original and unique sound generators with the proven sound shaping possibilities of the Liven series (filters, envelopes, sweep function), a powerful sequencer, a flexible arpeggiator and a large effects palette, which are available for individual tracks as well as for mainsignals, means that there are no longer any limits to creativity.  LIVEN MEGA SYYTHESIS – Back to the future!
